Luca Sito (born 12 May 2003) is an Italian sprinter.[1] He won silver medals as part of the Italian mixed 4x400m relay team and in the men's 4x400m relay at the 2024 European Athletics Championships in Rome.

Early life[edit]

He was born and raised in Milan, although he has family from Naples. He was a keen football player before focusing on athletics.[2]

Career[edit]

He was a gold medalist in the 4x400m at the 2023 European Athletics U23 Championships in Espoo.[3]

In April 2024, he lowered his personal best for the 400 metres to 45.65 in Firenze.[4] He ran as part of the Italian 4x400m relay team at the World Relays Championships in Nassau, Bahamas in May 2024.[5] That month, he ran a 45.35 personal best for the 400 metres in Montreuil.[6]

Competing at the 2024 European Athletics Championships in Rome, he was a silver medalist in the Mixed 4x400m relay.[7] He also reached the final of the Men's 400 metres with a time of 44.75 seconds. In the final he placed fifth overall.[8][9]
