Chronology
PredecessorApollo Intensa Emozione

The Apollo Project EVO, also known as Apollo EVO, is a mid-engine sports car made by German vehicle manufacturer Apollo Automobil GmbH. It was created as a successor to the Intensa Emozione.

It was first unveiled at the 2021 International Import Expo (CIIE) in Shanghai, China, alongside another currently unknown Apollo vehicle in late 2021, and production is believed to have started in 2021. There are currently only 2 units in existence which are both prototypes, however 10 non-prototypes will be produced overall[1][2]

Specifications[edit]

Design[edit]

Apollo says the Project EVO features a carbon fiber monocoque chassis, as well as active aerodynamics such as an electronically adjustable rear spoiler and aero fins.[3]

It comes with a full range of active aerodynamics including a large retractable and adjustable rear spoiler, aero stabilizers and triangular air intakes that are clearly visible from the sides[4]

It features a special paint job that depending on the angle can look vibrant orange to a very bright red. It also features a few hints of purple on the windshield and rear.

The interior is mostly orange to match the exterior, with a black accent, and a few white accents such as on the inside of the steering wheel, interior vents, and buttons. It features 3 screens on the dash right above the steering wheel for speed, mileage, etc.

Performance[edit]

The Apollo Evo is powered by the same modified version of the same Ferrari derived 6.3 L F140 V12 engine developed by Autotecnica Motori and HWA AG used on the its predecessor.[5][2]

It has an acceleration of 0-60 mp/h in under 3.0 seconds, however the exact number is not yet confirmed due to none of the official models being produced and tested yet.

Production[edit]

Overall, the car will have 10 official models and 2 prototypes. Both prototypes have been produced, however none of the official models have been created yet.

Based off statements from official Apollo employees, the car will be priced at between US$2,500,000-US$3,000,000. It takes around 1200 hours to make each unit, and ~600 hours to paint it.

The car is not intended to be street legal, and is generally considered track-only, however if needed, it is able to drive on streets.
