English: Snaking up the dune ridge Despite the close proximity of Crinkle Hill Gap and a number of wooden steps in very good condition, which all provide easy access onto the beach, some people decide to walk straight up and across the dune ridge, thereby trampling the vegetation as they go along. The resulting exposed strips of sand are easy prey for further erosion. |
